3 eggs
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
1-1/4 cups Kraft Mayo Real Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2-1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1-3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. each Magic Baking Powder and salt
1-1/3 cups hot water
3/4 cup butter, softened
1-1/2 pkg. (225-g each) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate (12 oz.), melted, cooled slightly
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 cups icing sugar
1/2 cup milk

Step 1
Heat oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Cover bottoms of 2 (9-inch) round pans with parchment; spray sides with cooking spray. Beat eggs in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gradually add granulated sugar, beating until thick and lemon coloured. Add dressing and vanilla; mix well.
Step 3
Combine flour, 3/4 cup cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add to egg mixture; mix until blended. Gradually add hot water, beating after each addition until well blended. Pour into prepared pans.
Step 4
Bake 30 to 35 min. or until toothpick inserted in centres comes out clean. Cool cakes in pans 10 min. Remove from pans to wire racks; cool completely.
Step 5
Beat butter, semi-sweet chocolate and 1/3 cup cocoa powder in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Gradually add icing sugar, beating after each addition until well blended. Add milk; mix well.
Step 6
Stack cake layers on plate, filling layers with 3/4 cup icing. Frost top and side of cake with remaining icing.

Variation
For a mocha-flavoured cake, substitute hot brewed strong Maxwell House Coffee for the hot water.
