2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, chopped
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 Tbsp. honey, divided
125 g (1/2 of 250-g pkg.) Philadelphia Light Brick Cream Cheese Spread, softened
1 crisp granola bar, lightly crushed

Step 1
Melt butter in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add apples; cook 8 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Add cinnamon and 1 Tbsp. honey; mix well. Cook and stir 2 min. or until apples are tender and lightly browned.
Step 3
Spoon into 4 (250-mL) jars; cover with lids.
Step 4
Refrigerate 30 min.
Step 5
Mix cream cheese and remaining honey until blended; spoon over apples. Top with granola.

Best Apples for Baking and Cooking
The varieties of apples available to shoppers has exploded over the years, but note that some are better suited for cooking than others. Granny Smith, Braeburn, McIntosh, Jonathan and Honeycrisp are excellent all-purpose apples for cooking. Avoid using Gala, SweeTango, Red Delicious and Fuji for baking or cooking.
