1 cup flour
1 cup old-fashioned oats
2 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup oil
1 cup grated peeled Granny Smith apples (about 2)

Step 1
Heat oven to 400°F.
Step 2
Combine first 5 ingredients in large bowl.
Step 3
Whisk all remaining ingredients except apples in medium bowl until blended. Add to dry ingredients; stir just until moistened. Stir in apples.
Step 4
Spoon into 12 paper-lined muffin pan cups.
Step 5
Bake 15 to 20 min. or until toothpick inserted in centres comes out clean.

Best Apples for Baking and Cooking
The varieties of apples available to shoppers has exploded over the years, but note that some are better suited for cooking than others.
