1-1/2 cups flour
1-1/2 cups large flake rolled oats
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup mashed fully ripe bananas (about 1 banana)
4 oz. (1/2 of 225-g pkg.) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped

Step 1
Heat oven to 375° F.
Step 2
Combine first 4 ingredients. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Blend in egg and vanilla. Add bananas; mix well. Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate.
Step 3
Drop dough into 36 mounds, 2 inches apart, on parchment-covered baking sheets, using 1 rounded tablespoon dough for each mound; flatten slightly.
Step 4
Bake 8 to 10 min. or until lightly browned. Cool 5 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
