1-1/2 cups boiling water
2 pkg. (85 g each) Jell-O Strawberry Jelly Powder
2 cups cold water
2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
1/2 cup each sliced bananas and strawberries
1/2 cup drained canned pineapple chunks in juice
1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
1 cup thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping

Step 1
Add boiling water to jelly powders in medium bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water.
Step 2
Add ice cream; stir until completely melted. Pour into serving bowl.
Step 3
Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Top with fruit, nuts and Cool Whip just before serving.

How to Toast the Nuts
Toasting nuts adds crunch and intensifies their flavor. There are several ways to toast nuts. To toast nuts in the oven, spread nuts in single layer in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 15 min. or until golden brown, stirring occasionally. To toast nuts on the stovetop, place nuts in ungreased skillet. Cook over medium heat until golden brown, stirring frequently. To toast nuts in the microwave, place up to 1 cup of nuts in a microwaveable shallow dish. Microwave on HIGH until fragrant and crisp, stirring every 30 sec.
