1-3/4 cups 25%-less-sodium beef broth
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 jalapeño pepper, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 beef brisket (4 lb./1.8 kg)
1 bottle (455 mL) Kraft Original BBQ Sauce, divided

Step 1
Heat oven to 325°F.
Step 2
Combine first 4 ingredients in roasting pan. Add meat; top with 1/2 cup barbecue sauce. Cover with foil; pierce foil in several places with sharp knife or fork to vent.
Step 3
Bake 3 hours or until meat is done (160°F). Transfer meat to cutting board; cover to keep warm. Let stand 10 min.
Step 4
Meanwhile, pour sauce from pan through strainer into large skillet. Discard strained sauce. Place strained vegetables in small saucepan. Stir in 1/2 cup of the remaining barbecue sauce; cook 3 to 4 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Cut meat across the grain into thin slices; place on platter. Spoon vegetable mixture over meat. Serve with remaining barbecue sauce.

For less heat, remove seeds from jalapeño pepper before slicing.
