1 lb. (450 g) beets (about 3), peeled
1/3 cup Kraft Extra Virgin Olive Oil Aged Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
1 red onion, cut in 1-inch chunks
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. ground cumin

Step 1
Cut beets into 1/4-inch-thick slices, then cut each slice into thirds. Add to large saucepan of boiling water; cook, partially covered, on medium-high heat 20 min. or just until beets are tender. Remove from pan; drain, reserving 1/4 cup cooking water.
Step 2
Heat dressing in same saucepan on medium heat. Add onions and garlic; cook 10 min. or until very tender, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Add beets along with the cumin and reserved cooking water; cook and stir 2 min. or until heated through.
