Nothing quite says fall like apple desserts. And, this is no exception. We’ve put a twist on a regular baked apple and made it bloomin’. You won’t be able to resist this recipe's mix of the melted caramels and creamy cinnamon brown sugar sauce.

2 baking apples
4 Kraft Caramels
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 Tbsp. Philadelphia Cinnamon Brown Sugar Cream Cheese Product
2 tsp. milk

Step 1
Heat oven to 375ºF.
Step 2
Cut 1/4-inch-thick slice off top of each apple; discard. Cut out apple cores; discard. Starting at top of each apple, make vertical cut (about 1/4 inch from peel) around flesh of apple, being careful to not cut through to bottom of apple. Repeat to make second parallel cut, about 1/4 inch closer to centre of apple from first cut.
Step 3
Turn apples over. Make vertical cut down into each apple, being careful to not cut all the way through apple. Repeat to make additional vertical cuts in apple, allowing about 1/4 inch between cuts.
Step 4
Place apples in individual baking dishes. Add 2 caramels to centre of each apple. Combine next 3 ingredients; spoon over apples. Bake 20 to 25 min. or until apples are tender. Cool slightly. Mix cream cheese product and milk until blended; spoon over warm apples just before serving.

For added crunch and flavour, sprinkle evenly with 2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts before baking filled apples as directed.
