Traditionally these tikkis are made with crushed peanuts. This simplified version uses KRAFT Peanut Butter instead. Our recipe title is a twist on ‘Bombay Talkies’ – the first and most famous motion picture studio to open in India, the ancestor of Bollywood.

1 cup mashed potatoes
1/4 cup Kraft Crunchy Peanut Butter
1/4 cup finely chopped red onions
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 green chiles, sliced
2 slices white bread, cut into small squares
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh coriander (cilantro)
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh mint
1 tsp. garam masala
1 tsp. dried fenugreek leaves
1/2 tsp. cumin seed
1/2 tsp. red chili powder or cayenne pepper

Step 1
Combine ingredients. Shape into 8 balls, using about 1/4 cup for each; flatten slightly.
Step 2
Add 4 tikkis to skillet sprayed with cooking spray; cook 10 min. or until crisp and golden brown on both sides, carefully turning after 5 min.
Step 3
Repeat with remaining tikkis.
