1/3 cup butter, divided
1-1/2 cups plus 2 Tbsp. flour, divided
1/3 cup granulated sugar, divided
1 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
125 g (1/2 of 250-g pkg.) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
2 eggs
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1-1/4 cups grated peeled Granny Smith apple (about 1 large apple)
1/3 cup chopped walnuts

Step 1
Heat oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Melt 2 Tbsp. butter. Add to 2 Tbsp. flour and 3 Tbsp. granulated sugar in small bowl; mix well. Reserve for later use.
Step 3
Combine remaining flour with baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon. Beat cream cheese and remaining butter in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Add eggs, brown sugar and remaining granulated sugar; mix well. Stir in dry ingredients just until moistened. Add apples and nuts; stir just until blended.
Step 4
Pour into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan; sprinkle with reserved flour mixture.
Step 5
Bake 50 to 52 min. or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool 10 min. Remove loaf from pan to wire rack; cool completely.
