How to Make Caramelized Onions
Cut 1 large sweet onion lengthwise in half, then crosswise into thin slices. Melt 1 Tbsp. butter with 2 Tbsp. oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions; cook 5 min., stirring frequently. Simmer on medium-low heat 25 min. or until onions are golden brown, stirring occasionally.
