Our CERTO Dutch Apple Pie Jam, full of chopped tart apples, raisins, cinnamon and allspice, has so many uses! Spoon this homemade jam on pancakes, into prepared oatmeal and of course as a sweet treat on toast or scones.

4 cups prepared fruit(about 4 Granny Smith apples)
4-1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup raisins
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1 pouch Certo Liquid Pectin

How do I make it ?
Peel, core and finely chop apples; place in large saucepan. Add all remaining ingredients except pectin; mix well.
Bring to full rolling boil on high heat, stirring constantly. Cook 1 min., stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in pectin. Stir 5 min. to prevent ingredients from floating to top, skimming foam as necessary.
Pour immediately into warm sterilized jars, filling to within 1/4 inch of rims. Seal while hot with sterilized two-piece lids with new centres. Let stand at room temperature until set.

How to Measure Precisely
To get exact level cup measures of granulated sugar, spoon sugar into dry metal or plastic measuring cup, then level by scraping excess sugar from top of cup with a straight-edged knife. Measure total amount of sugar into separate bowl before using as directed.
Keeping it Safe
After jars cool, check seals by pressing middles of lids with finger. (If lids spring back, lids are not sealed and refrigeration is necessary.)
