Spray large saucepan with cooking spray. Add onions; cook on medium heat 7 min. or until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in broth. Bring to boil.
Add vegetables; stir. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 10 min. or until vegetables are tender. Carefully mash vegetables with potato masher until desired consistency.
Stir in Cheez Whiz; cook 2 min. or until Cheez Whiz is completely melted and mixture is well blended.

Cool prepared soup. Pour into 4 small freezer containers; cover with lids. Freeze up to 3 months. Thaw in refrigerator overnight. Empty contents into small saucepan to reheat just before serving.
