1-1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1-1/2 cups sugar
4 tsp. Maxwell House Instant Coffee Original Roast
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
4 oz. (1/2 of 225-g pkg.) Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate, melted, cooled
3/4 cup milk
12 Kraft Caramels
1 Tbsp. whipping cream

Step 1
Heat oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Step 3
Beat butter, sugar, coffee and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in chocolate. Add flour mixture alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition.
Step 4
Pour into 9x5-inch loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray.
Step 5
Bake 55 min. to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool 10 min. Remove from pan to wire rack; cool completely.
Step 6
Microwave caramels and cream in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 to 2 min. or until completely melted, stirring every 30 sec. Drizzle over cake.
