Try your hand at something new - these warm appetizers are easy and delicious. With a few on-hand ingredients, you can whip up these baked tarts that are stuffed with ground beef, two kinds of cheese and a creamy sauce.
What do I need ?
18 slices white or whole-wheat bread
1/2 cup butter, as needed
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 cup diced Spanish or red onion
2 tsp. Heinz Tomato Ketchup
1/2 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese
1/4 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded Double Cheddar Cheese
1 can (10 fl. oz/284 mL) condensed cream of mushroom soup

How do I make it ?
Cut crusts off each slice of bread. Butter one side of each slice then press buttered side down into muffin tins.
Combine all remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Fill each bread slice with about 1/4 cup beef mixture.
Bake 40 minutes at 350°F until mixture is browned on top and cooked through.

Lean ground turkey or lean ground pork can be substituted for lean ground beef.
Diced green and red peppers can be added or substituted for Spanish onion.
3 egg whites can replace 2 eggs and reduced-fat soup can be used.
