How do I make it ?

Step 1
Prepare cake batter as directed on package, except reduce the water to 3/4 cup. Add dry pudding mix and coffee; beat 2 min.
Step 2
Drop batter into 30 mounds, 2 inches apart, on parchment-covered baking sheets, using about 2 Tbsp. batter for each mound.
Step 3
Top 15 mounds evenly with chocolate sprinkles.
Step 4
Bake 14 to 16 min. or until toothpick inserted in centres comes out almost clean. Cool cakes on baking sheets 3 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
Step 5
Stir frosting and Cool Whip until blended.
Step 6
Place plain cakes, top sides down, on work surface; top with Cool Whip mixture, adding about 2 Tbsp. Cool Whip mixture to each cake. Cover with remaining cakes, sprinkled sides up.

Make Ahead
These moist mini cakes can be baked ahead of time. Cool, then place in single layer on clean baking sheet; cover. Store at room temperature up to 2 days. When ready to serve, prepare Cool Whip mixture, then use to prepare whoopie pies as directed.
