1 pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix
1-1/2 cups sour cream
1 Tbsp. zest and 2 Tbsp. juice from 1 orange
1/2 tsp. Chinese five-spice powder
1 cup icing sugar
1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted

How do I make it ?

Step 1
Heat oven to 350ºF.
Step 2
Beat cake mix, sour cream, orange zest and orange juice in large bowl with mixer until blended. (Batter will be thick.)
Step 3
Spoon into 3 greased and floured mini loaf pans.
Step 4
Bake 30 to 35 min. or until toothpick inserted in centres comes out clean. Cool 10 min. Remove bread loaves from pans to wire rack; cool completely.
Step 5
Beat cream cheese and spice in medium bowl with mixer until blended. Gradually add sugar, mixing well after each addition; spread onto tops of bread loaves.
Step 6
Sprinkle with nuts.

This delicious batter can instead be baked in one pan. Pour prepared batter into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake 55 min. to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean; continue as directed.
