4 slices side bacon, diced
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 cup long-grain white rice
1 can (10 oz) condensed tomato soup
1-1/2 cups water
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/2 lb. frozen, precooked shrimp, thawed

How do I make it ?
Brown bacon in large frypan over medium-high heat. Remove from pan and set aside. Cook onion and green pepper in bacon drippings for 3 minutes. Drain fat.
Stir IN rice, thyme and cumin. Cook for 1 minute. Add soup, water and hot pepper sauce, stir until smooth. Bring to boil, cover and simmer over low heat 20 minutes.
Add shrimp and bacon. Cover and cook 5 minutes longer.
