Brown meat with onions and peppers in large skillet on medium heat. Add beans and seasonings; mix well. Cook 3 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Add 1 cup cheese; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until melted. Cool 5 min.
Unroll pastry onto lightly floured surface; roll into 12-inch square. Transfer to parchment-covered baking sheet.
Spread meat mixture onto pastry to within 1/2 inch of edges; top with remaining cheese. Fold edges of pastry over meat mixture, leaving opening in centre, brush pastry with egg.
Bake 22 to 25 min. or until cheese is melted and edges of crust are golden brown. Cool slightly.

No puff pastry? You can instead prepare this savoury tart using phyllo dough. Stack 4 sheets of phyllo on lightly floured surface, brushing each sheet lightly with melted butter between covering with the next phyllo sheet. Spread with meat mixture, then continue as directed except decrease the baking time to 18 to 20 min. or until golden brown.
