Mix all ingredients except shrimp and onions until blended. Pour half the ketchup mixture over shrimp in large bowl; mix lightly. Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate.
Heat greased barbecue to medium heat. Remove shrimp from marinade; discard marinade. Thread 1 shrimp onto each of 22 skewers.
Grill 6 to 8 min. or until shrimp turn pink, turning and brushing occasionally with remaining ketchup mixture. Transfer to platter; sprinkle with onions.
