1 lb. (450 g) extra-lean ground beef
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1/3 cup Heinz Tomato Ketchup
1 egg, beaten
4 lettuce leaves
4 hamburger buns
2 Tbsp. Heinz Yellow Mustard
1 red onion, cut into 8 slices
2 tomatoes, each cut into 4 slices

How do I make it ?

Step 1
Heat greased barbecue to medium heat.
Step 2
Mix meat, bread crumbs, ketchup and egg just until blended. Shape into 4 (1/2-inch thick) patties.
Step 3
Grill 5 to 6 min. on each side or until done (160ºF).
Step 4
Place lettuce on bottom halves of buns; top with burgers, mustard, onions and tomatoes. Cover with tops of buns.

Omit hamburger buns, mustard, onions and tomatoes. Prepare and grill burgers as directed, substituting Heinz 57 Sauce Original for the ketchup. Serve on thick whole grain bread slices, or in split kaiser buns, topped with grilled onions.

Omit hamburger buns, mustard, onions and tomatoes. Prepare and grill burgers as directed, substituting Heinz Chili Sauce for the ketchup. Serve in pita pockets spread with tzatziki. Top with Cracker Barrel Crumbled Feta Cheese with Oregano, Sun Dried Tomatoes and Black Pepper, sliced black olives and sliced cucumbers.
