How do I make it ?
Select All
Step 1
Heat greased barbecue to medium heat.
Step 2
Once the barbecue is heated, place bacon slices in single layer in large heatproof skillet, then place skillet on barbecue grate. Cook (depending on thickness of the bacon slices) for 8 to 11 min. or until bacon is almost done. Use tongs to flip each slice of bacon, then cook for an additional 4 to 6 min. or until done.
Step 3
While bacon is cooking, in a medium mixing bowl mix ground turkey, bread crumbs and half of the diced jalapeños until well combined.
Step 4
Divide ground turkey mixture into 12 balls and use hand to flatten to approximately 1/2-inch thickness.
Step 5
Use your thumb to make a shallow indentation in the centre of each patty. (This helps to keep the shapes of the patties during the barbecuing process.)
Step 6
Increase heat to medium-high. Oil the barbecue grate so patties do not stick, then place turkey patties on the barbecue grate. Grill for approximately 5 minutes, then flip and grill other side for an additional 3 minutes or until done. (Burgers should be cooked to 165°F before removing from barbecue.)
Step 7
While burgers are on the barbecue, heat frozen corn according to package instructions. Then, place corn in a medium mixing bowl. Add Philadelphia Cream Cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder and remaining diced jalapeños; mix until well combined. Set aside.
Step 8
Cut bacon slices in half. To assemble sandwiches, place turkey burgers on bottom halves of slider buns, then top with bacon and lettuce. Lastly, spread jalapeño-cream cheese mixture onto cut sides of top halves of buns; place over sandwiches.

Special Extra
In the final minute of the burgers' cooking time, place slider buns on the barbecue grate to lightly toast them before using as directed.
