1 onion, quartered
1 cup fresh coriander (cilantro)
1/2 cup fresh mint
1 piece (1 inch) gingerroot, peeled
2 cloves garlic
1 lb. (450 g) lean ground lamb
12 Ritz Crackers, finely crushed (about 1/3 cup)
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese with garlic and herbs
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. garam masala
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. red chili powder or cayenne pepper

How do I make it ?
Heat greased barbecue to medium-high heat.
Process first 5 ingredients in food processor until finely chopped; transfer to large bowl. Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
Divide meat mixture into 12 (1/4-cup) portions. Shape each portion into 6-inch-long sausage shape on 12-inch skewer, pressing meat mixture gently into skewer to secure.
Grill 8 to 10 min. on each side or until done.

For a change of pace, omit the skewers and shape the meat mixture into 4 (1-inch-thick) patties. Grill as directed.
