1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 whole eggs
1 Tbsp. zest and 1 tsp. juice from 1 large lemon, divided
1-2/3 cups flour, divided
3 Tbsp. poppy seed
1 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 cup sour cream
1 tub (280 g) Philadelphia Cream Cheese Whipped Frosting, divided
1 egg yolk

Step 1
Heat oven to 325ºF.
Step 2
Beat butter and sugar in medium bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add 2 eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in half of the lemon zest.
Step 3
Combine 1-1/2 cups of the flour with the poppy seed, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture alternately with sour cream, stirring well after each addition.
Step 4
Reserve 1/3 cup of the frosting; refrigerate for later use. Spoon remaining frosting into medium bowl. Add egg yolk, lemon juice, remaining lemon zest and remaining flour; mix well.
Step 5
Pour half of the poppy seed batter into greased and floured 8x4-inch loaf pan; spread to evenly cover bottom of pan with batter. Drop spoonfuls of frosting mixture over batter in pan; spread to within 1/2 inch of edges. Top with remaining batter, being careful to completely cover frosting mixture with poppy seed batter.
Step 6
Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool bread in pan 10 min. Remove to wire rack; cool completely.
Step 7
Spread remaining frosting over bread.

How to Store
Wrap the unfrosted cooled bread loaf in foil or plastic wrap. Refrigerate up to 1 day before frosting and serving. Refrigerate any leftover frosted bread in airtight container.
Substitute plain Greek-style yogurt for the sour cream.
