3/4 cup fresh lime juice, strained

1-1/2 cups water

1/2 cup tequila

1/4 cup orange flavoured liqueur

1/2 tsp. butter or margarine

4-1/2 cups sugar

1 pouch Certo Liquid Pectin

How do I make it ?

Step 1
Measure prepared fruit juice, water, liquors, and butter into a large saucepan.
Step 2
Add sugar to fruit and mix well.
Step 3
Place saucepan over high heat. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
Step 4
Immediately stir in liquid fruit pectin. Continue to stir and bring to a full rolling boil. Boil hard for 1 min.
Step 5
Remove from heat and skim if necessary.
Step 6
Pour quickly into warm, sterilized jars filling up to 1/4 inch from rim.
Step 7
Seal while hot with sterilized 2-piece lids with new centres.
