How to Store Avocado Dips and Spreads
Avocado-based dips and spreads brown easily. To prevent any leftovers from browning, lay plastic wrap evenly over the surface of the dip or spread, then press the plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the dip to remove any air pockets. Refrigerate up to 24 hours. If browning does occur, the top layer can be scraped off and discarded to reveal the greener layer below.
