3/4 cup butter, softened
2 cups Philadelphia Cream Cheese Product, divided
2-1/4 cups flour
3 oz. Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
3/4 cup sugar, divided
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup Bird's Custard Powder
2 cups milk
1 tsp. vanilla

How do I make it ?
Beat butter and 3/4 cup cream cheese product in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gradually beat in flour; shape into ball. Wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 30 min.
Meanwhile, mix remaining cream cheese and chocolate in medium bowl until blended. Add coconut, nuts and 1/4 cup sugar; mix well. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Heat oven to 400ºF. Roll out dough on lightly floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness. Use 3-1/2-inch to 4-inch cookie cutter to cut dough into 24 rounds, rerolling scraps as necessary.
Spoon 1 Tbsp. chocolate mixture onto centre of each dough round; brush edge with egg. Fold in half; seal edges with fork. Place on parchment-covered baking sheet; brush with remaining egg.
Bake 18 to 20 min. or until lightly browned.
Mix custard powder and remaining sugar in medium microwaveable bowl until blended. Add milk and vanilla; mix well. Microwave on HIGH 6 min., stirring every 2 min. Serve with pierogies.

Pierogi filling and custard sauce can be prepared ahead of time; store in separate tightly sealed containers in refrigerator up to 2 days. Heat custard sauce in microwave just before serving. Dough rounds can also be prepared in advance. Store between pieces of parchment in large resealable freezer-weight plastic bag for up to 2 months. Thaw at room temperature when ready to use.
