3 cups prepared strawberries (buy about 8 cups strawberries)
1 cup prepared bananas (buy about 2 bananas)
3 cups sugar, divided
1 box Certo Light Pectin Crystals

Step 1
Crush strawberries, one layer at a time. Measure exactly 3 cups prepared strawberries into large bowl. Mash bananas. Measure exactly 1 cup prepared bananas into bowl with strawberries. Combine 1/4 cup sugar and pectin crystals. Gradually add to fruit mixture, stirring after each addition until well blended. Let stand 30 min., stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Add remaining sugar; stir 3 min. or until most the sugar is dissolved and no longer grainy. (A few sugar crystals may remain.)
Step 3
Fill all containers immediately to within 1/2 inch of tops. Wipe off top edges of containers; immediately cover with lids. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours or until set.

To ensure accuracy of the sugar measure when preparing jams or jellies, use a dry measuring cup to measure the sugar, then place all the measured sugar in a separate bowl before adding it to the fruit mixture in bowl.
