This frozen peanut butter-chocolate dessert is one of our favourites. You can’t go wrong with a chocolate cookie crumb crust, vanilla ice cream swirled with creamy peanut butter and a topping of chocolate ganache and chopped peanuts. Our OREO Frozen Peanut Butter Dessert is a must-try!

2-1/2 cups Oreo Baking Crumbs
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 cup Kraft Smooth Peanut Butter
5 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
3 cups Cool Whip Whipped Topping (Do not thaw.)
6 oz. (3/4 of 225-g pkg.) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate
1/2 cup peanuts, coarsely chopped

How do I make it ?
Mix baking crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan. Freeze until ready to use. Microwave peanut butter in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min.; stir. Swirl peanut butter into ice cream; spread over crust. Freeze 30 min.
Microwave Cool Whip and chocolate in medium microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 to 2 min. or until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after each minute.
Spread Cool Whip mixture over ice cream layer; top with nuts. Freeze 4 hours. Remove pie from freezer 10 min. before serving; let stand at room temperature to soften slightly before cutting.

Dessert can be part of a balanced diet but remember to keep tabs on portions.
Prepare as directed, substituting caramel ice cream topping for the peanut butter, and omitting the microwave heating step before swirling the caramel topping with the ice cream.
Prepare using non-hydrogenated margarine, Kraft Light Peanut Butter, light vanilla ice cream and Cool Whip Light Whipped Topping.
