440 g pappardelle pasta, uncooked
2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 cup thinly sliced fennel
2 shallots, finely chopped
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 lb. (450 g) mussels, cleaned, scrubbed with beards removed
1 lb. (450 g) uncooked large shrimp, peeled with tails left on, deveined
1/2 lb. (225 g) sea scallops
1 jar (650 mL) Classico Riserva Marinara Pasta Sauce
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Step 1
Heat oil in Dutch oven or large deep skillet on medium heat. Add fennel and shallots, sauté 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Add wine; stir to deglaze pan. Add mussels; stir. Cover; simmer 4 to 6 min. or until mussels open. Remove and discard any unopened mussels.
Step 2
Meanwhile, boil water in large pan for pasta.
Step 3
Add shrimp and scallops to ingredients in Dutch oven; cook on medium-high heat 3 to 5 min. or just until shrimp turn pink and scallops are opaque, stirring frequently. Stir in pasta sauce; simmer on medium-low heat 3 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally and adding cream for the last 1 min.
Step 4
Meanwhile, cook pasta in large pan of boiling water just until al dente.
Step 5
Drain pasta. Add to pasta sauce mixture; mix lightly. Sprinkle with parsley.
