Step 1
Beat eggs, milk, syrup, cinnamon and nutmeg in shallow dish with wire whisk until well blended; set aside. Spread 4 of the bread slices evenly with peanut butter; top with apples. Cover with remaining 4 bread slices.
Step 2
Melt margarine in medium nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add two of the sandwiches to egg mixture; let stand 1 min., turning after 30 sec. Add to skillet; cook 2 to 3 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with remaining two sandwiches.
Step 3
Cut each sandwich in half to serve.
