We've taken French toast to a whole new level! Stuffed with creamy peanut butter and sweet-tart apples, this Peanut-Apple French Toast is perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

1 carton (500 g) liquid eggs
1/4 cup skim milk
2 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
8 whole grain bread (1/2-inch thick)
1/2 cup Kraft All Natural Peanut Butter
1 medium Granny Smith apple, sliced
1 Tbsp. margarine

How do I make it ?
Beat eggs, milk, syrup, cinnamon and nutmeg in shallow dish with wire whisk until well blended; set aside. Spread 4 of the bread slices evenly with peanut butter; top with apples. Cover with remaining 4 bread slices.
Melt margarine in medium nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add two of the sandwiches to egg mixture; let stand 1 min., turning after 30 sec. Add to skillet; cook 2 to 3 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with remaining two sandwiches.
Cut each sandwich in half to serve.
