2 oz. Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate
1/4 cup Kraft Smooth Peanut Butter
1 pkg. (450 g) frozen pre-rolled puff pastry sheet (2 sheets), thawed
1 egg yolk
1 Tbsp. water

How do I make it ?

Step 1
Heat oven to 375ºF.
Step 2
Microwave chocolate in microwaveable bowl on MEDIUM 2-1/2 min.; stir until completely melted. Add peanut butter; mix well.
Step 3
Unroll 1 pastry sheet on lightly floured surface; roll out to 12x10-inch rectangle. Transfer to parchment-covered baking sheet. Use tip of sharp knife to lightly score pastry into Christmas tree shape. Following scored lines, carefully cut out tree. Reserve trimmings for later use. Spread chocolate mixture onto pastry tree to within 1/4 inch of edges.
Step 4
Unroll second pastry sheet, then roll out to 12x10-inch rectangle; place over chocolate-topped tree. Trim pastry so top pastry cutout matches shape of bottom tree. Reserve trimmings. Starting at bottom of tree, make 1-inch-wide cuts into opposite long sides of tree as shown in photo, leaving centre of trees uncut. Gently twist strips, 1 at a time, while gently pulling strip away from centre of tree.
Step 5
Use small star-shaped cookie cutter to cut shapes from pastry trimmings. Decorate tree with some of the star cutouts. Place any remaining cutouts on baking sheet next to tree. Beat egg yolk and water until blended; brush onto pastry tree and star cutouts.
Step 6
Bake 20 to 22 min. or until golden brown. Cool completely.
