1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup icing sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1-3/4 cups flour, divided
1/2 cup sliced almonds, divided
1 pkg. (250 g) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 can (15 fl oz/398 mL) pumpkin
1 egg
1 can (370 mL) evaporated milk
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

Step 1
Heat oven to 350ºF.
Step 2
Line 13X9-inch baking pan with foil; spray with cooking spray. Mix butter, icing sugar and vanilla in large bowl. Gradually stir in 1-1/2 cups of flour and 1/4 cup almonds. Press dough firmly onto bottom of pan. Bake 15 min. or until lightly browned.
Step 3
Beat cream cheese and brown sugar in medium bowl with mixer on high speed until well blended. Add remaining 1/4 cup flour, pumpkin, eggs, milk and pumpkin pie spice; beat until blended. Pour over baked crust in pan. Sprinkle remaining almonds over filling.
Step 4
Bake 30 to 35 min. or until centre is set. Remove from oven; cool completely.

Special Extra
Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp. icing sugar, just before serving.
Easy Clean Up
To line a 13X9-inch pan with foil, turn pan upside down. Mold sheet of foil over inverted pan. Remove foil; flip pan over and drop foil inside. Bake as directed. When Pumpkin Almond Nut Bars are cool, lift by foil from pan onto cutting board. Fold back edges of foil and cut.
