1 small onion, thinly sliced
1/2 lb. (225 g) Italian sausage links, casings removed, cut into bite-size pieces
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 pkg. (6 oz/170 g) baby spinach leaves
2-1/2 cups Cracker Barrel Shredded Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese
1 French baguette (3/4 lb./340 g), cut into 18 slices

Step 1
Heat oven to 350ºF.
Step 2
Heat nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add onions; cook 8 to 10 min. or until tender and golden brown, stirring frequently. Remove from skillet; set aside.
Step 3
Add sausage to skillet; cook 5 min. or until browned, stirring occasionally. Stir in red pepper; cook 1 min. Add spinach. Cover; cook 2 min. Stir in cheese. Spoon into 9-inch pie plate; top with onions.
Step 4
Bake 10 min. Serve with bread.
