A few red sprinkles add a touch of wow to these easy-to-make cookies.

2-1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 tsp. red gel food colouring
1 tub (280 g) Philadelphia Cream Cheese Whipped Frosting
3 Tbsp. red sprinkles

How do I make it ?

Step 1
Heat oven to 350ºF.
Step 2
Combine flour and cocoa powder. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Blend in vanilla, egg and food colouring. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition.
Step 3
Shape dough into 40 (1-inch) balls; place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray.
Step 4
Bake 10 to 12 min. or until edges of cookies are set. Remove from oven. Immediately use rounded handle of wooden spoon to press indentation into centre of each cookie. (This will cause the cookies to crack slightly around the edges.) Cool on baking sheets 2 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
Step 5
Spoon frosting into pastry bag fitted with large star tip. Use to pipe frosting into indentations in cookies, adding about 1-1/2 tsp. frosting to each cookie.

Make Ahead
The cookies can be baked ahead of time. Press indentations into cookies as directed but do not fill with frosting. Store cookies in airtight container at room temperature up to 2 days. Fill with frosting before serving. The filled cookies can be stored in a single layer in airtight container in refrigerator up to 2 days before serving.
