If you love homemade lasagna, but don't think you have the time to make it, here's a hearty meat-sauced one-pan lasagna that you cook on top of the stove.

1 lb. (450 g) extra-lean ground beef
1 pkg. (225 g) sliced fresh mushrooms
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 green pepper, chopped
1 jar (650 mL) Classico di Napoli Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce
1/2 cup water
6 oven-ready lasagna noodles
1-1/2 cups Cracker Barrel Shredded Light 4 Cheese Italiano Cheese
1/4 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Light Grated Cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

Step 1
Cook first 4 ingredients in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 8 to 10 min. or until meat is browned and mushrooms release their liquid, stirring frequently. Add peppers; cook 2 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
Step 2
Stir in sauce and water. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 5 min., stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Reserve 4 cups sauce.
Step 3
Break 3 lasagna noodles into 1- to 2-inch pieces; spread over remaining sauce in skillet. Top with 1/2 cup shredded cheese, 2 Tbsp. each Parmesan and basil; cover with 2 cups of the reserved sauce and remaining noodles. Repeat layers of cheeses, basil and sauce. Top with remaining shredded cheese; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 20 min. or until noodles are tender. Remove from heat; uncover. Let stand 5 min. before cutting into wedges to serve.
