1 cup flour
2 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces
1 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded Old Cheddar Cheese
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh sage
1 cup buttermilk

Step 1
Heat oven to 425ºF.
Step 2
Combine flour, baking powder and salt in large bowl.
Step 3
Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheese and sage.
Step 4
Use fork to make well in centre of flour mixture. Add buttermilk; stir just until ingredients are well blended and dough pulls away from side of bowl. Place on lightly floured surface.
Step 5
Knead just until dough holds together and forms ball; roll out to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut into 15 (2-inch) rounds with floured biscuit cutter, rerolling scraps as necessary.
Step 6
Place, 2 inches apart, on parchment-covered baking sheet.
Step 7
Bake 14 to 16 min. or until golden brown. Cool slightly.
