How do I make it ?
Select All
Step 1
Place meat in slow cooker; top with vegetables and 1 Tbsp. thyme.
Step 2
Add broth and water; stir. Cover with lid. Cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours). About 15 min. before serving stroganoff, cook noodles as directed on package, omitting salt.
Step 3
Drain noodles; place in large bowl. Add cream cheese product and remaining thyme to meat mixture in slow cooker; stir until cream cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Add meat mixture to noodles; stir gently to combine.
Kraft Kitchen Tips!
Prepare using white button mushrooms, or a mix of button and cremini mushrooms. Or for more flavour, add shiitake or mini portobello mushrooms.
Special Extra
For added colour and flavour, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley just before serving.
Makeover - How We Did It
We've taken a classic recipe and made it over by reducing the amount of pasta, and by preparing it with whole wheat egg noodles and Philadelphia Herb & Garlic Light Cream Cheese Product.
