1 boneless beef strip steak (1 lb./450 g), 1 inch thick
2 portobello mushrooms, gills removed
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. chopped canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
8 slices multi-grain bread
4 red onion slices
4 Cracker Barrel Swiss Cheese Slices
2 cups tightly packed baby arugula

Step 1
Heat barbecue to medium-high heat.
Step 2
Grill steak 5 to 6 min. on each side or until medium-rare (145ºF) or desired doneness, adding mushrooms to the barbecue for the last 6 min. and turning after 3 min. Remove steak and mushrooms from barbecue. Cover steak; let stand 5 min. Meanwhile, mix mayonnaise and peppers.
Step 3
Slice mushrooms and steak.
Step 4
Spread 4 bread slices with mayonnaise mixture; top with mushrooms, onions, meat, cheese and arugula. Cover with remaining bread slices.
