Create a decadent dessert with white bread and fresh berries!
How do I make it ?
LIGHTLY butter one side of 14 slices white sandwich bread: remove crusts. Line bottom and sides of 8 x 4 inch loaf pan with 8 bread slices, butter-side up. Trim to fit pan if necessary.
BEAT 1 pkg (250 g) softened Philadelphia Cream Cheese with 1/4 cup sugar in bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Stir in 2 cups thawed Cool Whip Topping, rind from 1 orange and 1/2 cup orange juice.
ADD 1 cup sliced strawberries. Spoon half the berry mixture into pan.
COVER with 3 slices bread; spread with remaining mixture. Place remaining 3 slices of bread on top. Cover with plastic wrap; chill overnight to let flavor soak into the bread. Invert onto serving plate; frost with thawed Cool Whip Topping and garnish with sliced strawberries.
