If you love tacos and pasta, this ultimate combination of the two is something to get excited about! Spaghetti, beans and taco fixings are all whipped up together in this delicious baked spaghetti pie. The whole family is sure to love this mashup of two dinnertime favourites!

440 g spaghetti, uncooked
1 lb. (450 g) extra-lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 pkg. (24 g) 30%-less-sodium taco seasoning mix
1 jar (650 mL) Classico Riserva Marinara Pasta Sauce
1/4 cup water
1 can (19 fl oz/540 mL) black beans, rinsed
2 cups Cracker Barrel Shredded Tex Mex Cheese, divided

How do I make it ?

Step 1
Heat oven to 350ºF.
Step 2
Cook spaghetti as directed on package, omitting salt.
Step 3
Meanwhile, brown meat with onions in large nonstick skillet on medium heat, stirring frequently. Add peppers; cook and stir 3 to 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Add taco seasoning mix and pasta sauce, mix well.
Step 4
Add water to empty pasta sauce jar. Cover with lid; shake to remove any pasta sauce remaining in jar. Add to meat mixture along with the beans and 1 cup cheese; mix well.
Step 5
Drain spaghetti. Add to pasta sauce mixture; mix lightly. Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
Step 6
Bake 25 min. or until heated through. Remove from oven. Let stand 5 min. before cutting into pieces to serve.
