4 beef tenderloin steaks (1 lb./450 g)
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup Diana Marinade Spicy Southwest, divided
1 tsp. chili powder
2 ears corn on the cob, husks and silk removed, blanched
1/2 cup chopped red onions
2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh cilantro
1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
1 avocado

Step 1
Heat greased barbecue to medium-high heat.
Step 2
Sprinkle steaks with pepper. Mix 1/3 cup marinade and chili powder until blended. Reserve 2 Tbsp. marinade mixture for later use; brush remaining marinade mixture onto steaks. Let stand 15 min.
Step 3
Meanwhile, brush corn with reserved marinade mixture. Grill 10 min. or until tender and evenly grill marked, turning frequently. Remove from barbecue.
Step 4
Add steaks to barbecue; grill 10 to 15 min. or until medium doneness (160ºF), turning after 8 min. Remove from barbecue.
Step 5
Cut kernels off corn cobs; place in medium bowl. Add onions, cilantro, lime juice and remaining marinade; mix lightly.
Step 6
Cut avocado into slices. Serve topped with steaks and corn mixture.

For more flavour, brush steaks with reserved marinade mixture then refrigerate up to 2 hours before grilling as directed.

How to Blanch the Corn
Add corn to pan of boiling water; cook 2 to 3 min. or until bright yellow in colour. Drain. Immediately plunge corn into bowl of ice water to stop the cooking. When completely cool, drain and pat dry.
