A twist on traditional pot pie, this Zippy Turkey Pot Pie uses leftover roast turkey in place of chicken. Using a refrigerated pie crust makes this turkey pot pie even easier to make. This easy take on a classic pot pie makes leftover turkey feel new again - your whole family will love it!

3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup Miracle Whip Original Spread
1 Tbsp. flour
1-1/2 cups Cracker Barrel Shredded Old Cheddar Cheese
3 cups chopped leftover roasted turkey
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, corn, green beans, peas), thawed
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 ready-to-use refrigerated pie crust (1/2 of 400-g pkg.)

Step 1
Heat oven to 400°F.
Step 2
Mix milk, Miracle Whip and flour in large microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2 to 3 min. or until thickened, stirring after each minute. Stir in cheese. Microwave 1 min.; stir. Add turkey, mixed vegetables and onions; mix lightly. Spoon into 9-inch pie plate; smooth top.
Step 3
Place pie crust over filling; flute edge, pressing into rim of pie plate to seal. Cut several slits in crust to permit steam to escape. Place on baking sheet.
Step 4
Bake 30 to 35 min. or until crust is golden brown. Let stand 10 min. before serving.

Special Extra
For extra colour and shine, brush crust with beaten egg white before baking as directed.

Put those leftovers to good use! Last night's cooked chicken or ham would also taste great in this steaming pot pie. Just prepare as directed, substituting leftover chopped cooked chicken or ham for the turkey.
